GENERAL
Top Orchid is an orchid farm with an area of 2 hectares. The company is located in the head of Noord-Holland between Schagen and Alkmaar. Under the supervision of Peter Tesselaar and Koos Dekker, about nine employees are working at Top Orchid. In the school holidays and on Saturday there is also the support of ten students. 

The chosen cultivation are orchids, who are covered by the groups Cambria and Oncidium. Cambria is a collective name for numerous species of orchids, who found their origin in South America and they are, by crossing, to get in many colors. Oncidium also foud their origin in South America. The variety produces many smaller flowers and yellow is the main color.
